How is this work funded?

Our personal expenses are funded through the generous donations of churches and individuals throughout North America. Giving is made to the mission agency with which we serve, Sunrise International Ministries.

Ministry expenses are covered by a combination of charitable giving and funds generated through the education center that operate. (We receive no salary from the education center.)

If you are interested in making a financial donation, please explore the links below. Sunrise International Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and we are committed to excellence in financial accountability and transparency.

Why do we raise financial support?

A question we are commonly asked is why we need to raise money in the first place. For example, why don’t we get a job in the Japanese corporate world and fully fund ourselves? It is a legitimate question which we don’t mind answering. We believe God has called us to Japan specifically to help foster a church planting movement and develop national leadership. Raising support allows us the freedom and mobility needed to be available to the Japanese church as it grows and develops.

How you can become a financial partner.

If you believe the Lord is leading you to give to this ministry, either monthly or by a one-time gift, joining our financial support team is a simple process.

Because Sunrise International Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, donations made to Sunrise may be used to lower your taxable income in the United States.
